Matilda Parmer was the only child of Martin Parmer and his second wife, Margaret Griffith Neal.  Matilda Parmer was born on March 28, 1828 at Washington, Hempstead County, Arkansas.  On February 22, 1845, Matilda Parmer married Alfred Morris, Sr.
